SSD Drives jump in capacity
First solid state drives that just started being sold to consumers a year or two ago which capacities hovering around 32-64Gb. Hard to belive that Super Talent came up with a huge leap in capacity so quickly with it’s 512Gb 2.5-inch MasterDrive RX. Drive uses MLC NAND flash memory, has 230MB/sec read rates and 200MB/sec write rates. It will cost you $1,500, but hey it’s first of it’s kind. Prices will drop soon. I predict we will see a 1Tb SSD by the Q1 of 2010.
