iPod Touch Cover flow

Today is my Apple rant day 🙂

This time it’s Cover-flow mode in iPod Touch/iPhone.  I really dislike this feature for two reasons:

1. It keeps locking my iPod touch!  When I carry it in my packet or simply in hand device constantly changes it’s possible thus prompting cover flow mode to switch on and off. This is apparently too much for iTouch to handle so it locks me out of the controls. I can’t change track or perform other functions because damn thing stuck in the cover flow mode!

2. There’s no freaking way to turn it off!  Not even a hack for jailbroken version 🙁

Instead of this useless feature why couldn’t they implement a pretty sound level meter. Also a gimmick but much more useful IMHO 🙂
