iPad 4.2.1 successfully jailbroken (untethered)
The day has come! After waiting for months, today finally a “REAL” jailbreak (GreenPois0n RC5) has been released! I can confirm that I was able to update and patch my 3.2 version iPAD 1G to fully working 4.2.1
Before you proceede to update, do APPLY official NON-Jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 patch (via iTunes). If at the time you are reading this Apple released newever version of iOs you will have to find an manually download “iPad1,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw”

I had 100% success with this JB. Cydia installed, iBlueEver installed and works with my Blackberry 3G phone. SBSettings works, but will give you a warning that your OS is too new. Many repositories on Cydia can timeout due to a huge demand today. Wait few hours and try again if you get timeout.
