Time to upgrade HDD on Tivo Premier!

Few years ago I upgraded my Tivo HD to a 1 TB HDD.  Recently I replaced Tivo HD with Premier and finally (after warranty expired)  decided to upgrade HDD on it.  I don’t really need the space, but more concerned about loosing HDD (after all it’s probably the most failure prone part inside Tivo). It has lifetime service subscription so loosing such a big investment really worries me.   Once I upgrade HDD I will not only have more room for shows, but also have a backup in case HDD ever fails.

Newegg had a great deal for Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive for $50 so it was a no brainier 🙂
